Side Effects

Warnings

Warnings: The drug may cause diarrhea. Diarrhea can be a symptom of a underlying health condition. Tell your doctor if you are using any of the following medicines: Antacids, multivitamins, laxatives, medicines for diabetes, probiotics, iron-rich foods, and weight-loss pills. Contact your doctor if diarrhea worsens. Tell your doctor right away if you have diarrhea that lasts or gets worse. You may need urgent medical attention.

Administration

May be taken with or without food. May be taken w/ meals to minimise GI discomfort. Do not take w/ antacids, Fe or dairy products.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to ciprofloxacin or other quinolones. History or risk of QT prolongation; known history of myasthenia gravis. Concomitant use with tizanidine.
